ESA Consulting Engineers, PA, provides design services in the areas of electric distribution systems for industrial plants, electric generating stations and telecommunications power plants. These services are provided for both normal and emergency power systems.
ESA staff have performed virtually all of the calculations and studies required to design a generating station, industrial plant or telecommunications power plant electrical auxiliary system. These include short circuit, voltage drop, main transformer sizing, neutral grounding, motor starting, surge protection, equipment loading, battery and battery charger sizing, inverter sizing, cable sizing, protective relay settings and coordination and so forth. ESA will also prepare equipment specifications, perform bid evaluations, review vendor drawings, prepare pre-operational test and startup procedures, prepare project budgets/schedules and develop/present training programs. ESA staff have also defended plant designs in audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agency inspectors or outside organizations.
