ESA STATIONARY BATTERY & DC SYSTEM TRAINING

For more than twenty-five years, ESA personnel have presented the finest training programs in the industry for stationary batteries, dc systems (dc power plants) and industry standards to companies, government agencies and organizations around the world. ESA’s personnel have been recognized by their piers for their contributions to educating engineers, electricians, technicians and operations personnel in the areas of dc systems and batteries.

Today, ESA training Seminars have been attended by thousands of persons from more than 600 different companies, government agencies and organizations worldwide. Seminar offerings range in length from one-half to four-days and may be public (for anyone wishing to attend) or in-house for a specific client. ESA has developed numerous custom seminars designed with a client to meet its specific requirements and if this is of interest, ESA will be able to accommodate any needs. Additionally, ESA works with three companies and one university continuing education department, to present these seminars on their behalf (see the links at the end of this page and on the SCHEDULE page of the web site). One of the seminars taught for a company at its training facility in Texas, includes a hands-on exercise where the proper method for assembling intercell connections, and determining and measuring connection resistance on demonstration cells is included as part of the training.

Upon successful completion any ESA seminar, each participant will receive a certificate of completion and will be awarded 0.7 CEUs per day (e.g., 1.4 CEUs for a two-day seminar). More and more, licensing authorities are requiring evidence of completion of Continuing Education before renewal of an individual’s professional engineer license, electrician license or other license or certification, is granted.
